Setting

Indoor

A large modern aquarium in the basement of Central Phuket Floresta, which claims to be the biggest in Thailand, with about 25,000 animals across eight or nine themed zones, an ocean tunnel and scheduled shows. Allow an hour and a half to two hours, and pair it with lunch in the mall on a wet day.

Worth knowing

Tickets go by height: under 90 cm is free, 91 to 140 cm pays the child rate and anyone taller pays the adult rate. Prices change often, so check online before you go, where tickets are usually cheaper than at the gate. This is not the same place as the older Phuket Aquarium at Cape Panwa, which is much cheaper. The AR Trickeye Museum is on the same floor and is often sold as a combo ticket.
